An ongoing series of two dimensional works in fabric collage and digital print. Using the leftovers and remnants I continually develop new ideas.
This work hones in on issues of displacement, loss, fragility and ‘incompleteness’. Such themes are continuously revisited, drawing on a variety of media and formats to make large linear sculptures and wall drawings. Both are connected by their incompleteness and temporal nature. The subject matter moves between the figure and object and draws attention to the uncertainty experienced when we lose all sense of solidity and personal security.
